I don't know my politics well-enough, but is it possible to attach the EB amendment to all the bills that come in front of the GA.?

Berger is standing by his position that the Governor vetoed the Republican passage of the EB bill. He also says that they have no plan to revisit the issue.

did anyone ask him why the EB has to be attached to the budget? Why isn't he willing to let it be voted on as a standalone bill. Why doesn't someone hammer him on this? This makes me so angry. What kind of people would let their voters suffer like this?

One reporter did, and asked what he would say to the 45,000 people affected. His response was "I would tell them that the House and Senate Republicans passed the EB bill and the Governor vetoed it."

Rangerbob,

It makes me so frustrated I want to cry. I keep saying it, but I don't understand these people.
I wish there was some way to free this bill other than needing 9 republicans. So cruel.

The Heartless vs. The Spineless!

But we're to fault, we voted for these stubborn a*holes. Going to work, got a meeting with my part-time job's boss. I rather beg for more hours than to beg these heartless creeps for anything else.

When I was laid off, I rolled over $1200 from my 401K. If I cash that out now, while I am still filing weekly certifications on EB, do I have to claim it. I know there is a spot on the weekly cert questions that says something about change to a pension plan etc. It was rolled over to a money market with Oppenheimer. I am desperate. I just looked at my checking account.

The impression I have after hearing Berger speak is that he is purposely not disclosing information on the unemployment bill. Obviously, it's a hot issue and it's remaining hot with the support of the media and our support. It surely has been discussed by legislature and the governor but they are choosing not to disclose the facts on how and when it will be solved because in my opinion, it will be attached to some other piece of legislature which they are in the process of completing.
