I am glad to see Greensboro and Winston Salem doing well.
I took a ride on the Lynx Blue Line to UNCC last Saturday. I have never seen so many apartments built and under construction. Going though Southend is like going though a canyon of apartments. I have no idea how many projects are along the Lynx Blue Line. Too many to count.
The Lincoln financial tower? From what we know is announced or close to actually happening, by end 2020 it'll be likely be 5th tallest in Raleigh. Kane's "tower 4" project should be starting by summer.
With Carroll's deck back on the table, i do see some form of project 561 happening. I dont think it will be 561 feet tall but i do believe it will be Gboro's new tallest which will be nice! However i get the bad feeling it actually being constructed is still a good ways off. With no tenants so far, i see no way 2020 is possible. 2022 maybe. It will be interesting to see what gets proposed by then in the other NC big cities. Winston i doubt does anything large scale, Durham will probably have another large scale development but not likely something 400ft+. And Raleigh has a real shot at its new tallest in the N&0 lot.

I wouldn’t be shocked one bit if Raleigh got a large tower proposes anytime soon due to the sheer fact the triangle market is growing by leaps and bounds.
The most important bits I was able to find from the article. Doesn't look like anything conclusive yet, but certainly a good sign.
"Multiple sources say Silicon Valley electronics giant Apple is zeroing in on Research Triangle Park for a new jobs-heavy campus.
The company has been looking at sites across the country and, according to people with knowledge of the project, the Triangle area is a top contender.
.....
Within RTP, Apple has been focused on land around the intersection of Interstate 540 and Davis Drive, according to sources. There are bigger tracts along that stretch that may interest Apple."
Triangle posters are saying a call center. Still, even if it’s “just” a call center, IMO it’s a “sexy” name to have. I think Apple is sexier than Amazon

I think it's a bit more than a call center. Word is it's supposed to be similar to what's in Austin. If it really happens of course.
6000 jobs call center or not bring it on!
