We've got the luxury of selecting just about anyplace since we're not worried about a job commute. So, when we say "the Asheville area" is what we've decided on, we're really looking thoughout the Buncombe, Henderson, and Transylvania County areas. The counties are small enough in this region of the country that, from our perspective, any city, town, or village within those counties is an easy drive for us any time we want to go somewhere.

We're finding that the towns and surrounding areas of, Flat Rock and Brevard are the most appealing to us. That doesn't mean that we haven't found Weaverville or some other towns surrounding Asheville attractive. It just means that the kind of property we're seeking is a little more prevelant in those regions.

We now have our Ingels card. If we're in the checkout line together, I'll be glad to swipe ours for you.

Madison County is also in Asheville's metro area, just 20 miles to the north.

That's sad, I always offer to swipe mine but the cashier always grabs a card and does it for the person.
