Bragg has made a precedent that a local prosecutor can indict the leading presidential candidate of a major party based on a legal theory that has never been tested and for a crime that is past the statute of limitations. He further made it a series of felony charges because it was supposedly committed to perpetrate another crime for which the candidate was not charged nor was the supposed crime disclosed by Bragg.
Regardless of your political affiliation, this is a dangerous precedent.
