Do you DSNY guys required to put the lids back on/in the cans after you dump them?
Negative. No time, keep it moving, thousand more houses to go. Gotta hurry otherwise won't finish and have to raise taxes to hire more people. Run guys.....runnnnnnn. Oh and the public held a vote and they no longer consider you human so no more breaks for food or bathroom. Just keep it moving.
Ok, just got confirmation that my current employer will indeed be offering voluntary severance packages first week of April. I know that that there's no way that city will hire before May. However any chance I could get called for medical and know if I passed by mid April? If I passed DSNY medical by then I may consider taking the buyout. Thanks in advance.

Nice - it would be perfect timing. Wish something similar would happen on my end. My wife recently got a buyout and it was a very nice one. It will help with the financials when my pay drops by about 60% lol

Don't quit until you're hired by DSNY. If there's a hiring freeze or you get DQ'd for whatever reason, you're gonna be SOL.

I forgot about the possibility of a hiring freeze. I guess I'll go with plan B and stay with my current employer part time if or when I get hired. Thanks again.
