So, one of the questions on the pre-o paper is, "were you ever DQ'd from a city, state or govt. agency"....about 8 years ago, I was DQ'd from Port Authority Police (which I believe is a govt. agency), a week away from the academy they sent a letter saying more/less, they did not deem me physically fit for their academy (which is boot camp style). My question is, is this something I should omit from the paper work? thanx in advance for any sound advice
is that a genuine serious reply? or are we ball busting?
You answered your own question. The paper says if you have been DQ then list it. Why ask if you should say something when they clearly tell you other wise.

ok I'll tell you why I asked...people were saying to omit info. on medical and be honest about past crimes etc. So, basically, some things were encouraged to omit. I'm here for intel, just like everyone else...no reason to ball bust, im starting to see why your list # is so high
Listen I'm waiting to be hired just like you guys. But some of the questions are right in front of you. I have read thru both test forums so I know what to do. And I can read whatever they send. It's not like they are trying to trick you. Just give them what they want. Better then lying and having them find out later and getting fired. Some guys on the job will tell you other wise and that might work but you do it at your own risk.
My family on the job said if you think they can find it if they investigate then list it. If not don't. And they have over 18 years on the job. Do what's best for you.

I got 103. Whatever and my list number is high cause of my social security number smart ass. Once again if you read you would know that.... Quick fact when people have the same score they are listed by the last 5 of the social. I'm guessing you have the same score or maybe 1 point higher. And I'm sure if you got dq before you probably will get dq again.
And when the guys on the job tell you the same exact thing I just told you I would like and apology cause you hurt my feelings
