Just to clarify I do not have a CB preference. I live in Midtown west, but my license still has my parents house outside of the city. Main reason why i want to move is because right now I have a roommate and pay $2.2K. I can fork up more money to live in a building like the ruby
Which address did you have on HC? If you’ve submitted docs already then sounds like you have been considered for CB.

I was very upfront saying legally my DL was listed for my hometown and also submitted my current lease which is more like midtown east and have been there for 2 years. Maybe I ****ed up and will find out I need a NYC license or something? No clue but I have no other reason to be CB lol
Does anyone have any updates? Still nothing on my end since they acknowledged receiving my docs on May 9th. I’m relatively low log under 5,xxx with CB
No, i'm 16,xxx and starting to get very antsy. I called them today and they actually answered the phone for the first time but just said if you haven't heard back yet, they haven't gotten to your log number. This seems to be an odd lottery because they asked for documents for so many CB people at once. In every other forum im seeing they really only do a handful at a time.
About when we will be hearing back, the only morsel I have is that one guy that posted he had until 6/9 to update his documents after they were deemed insufficient. Was hoping shortly after that the rest of us would hear back, but nothing yet.
I am remaining optimistic either way though, as it really seems like every CB person who gets asked for documents ends up moving forward.
yep that guy was me (I am a girl lol) I submitted the missing documents right after they ask and got a reply the next day saying “appeal overturned” we were “put back in process” the communication was very smooth after that and almost every day an update with my agent. Then they asked for $20 for background and credit check then after that they sent us the HPD documents to be signed on Pronto and today I saw that on my housing connect our HPD files was uploaded so I’m not sure if that means that they submit it today?. We didn’t see any units yet, but on our TIC doc it says two bedroom and there is a unit number assigned even though we didn’t see any apt yet

NICE!!! Congrats!!! There must be some kind of delay with the building.. usually when one is this far theyve seen the unit already. If nothing else you can go directly on Ruby's website or on streeteasy to take a look at the floorplan until you're able to see the actual unit
I have a friend who’s a realtor said the north tower wont be ready till August. Maybe this is why they kinda slowed down the process?
Yea Ive been thinking the same thing. It's the only thing I can think of as to why this process seems to have come to a bit of a halt. I feel like once that opens up, the process will pick back up.
so far they assign us South but since we didn’t visit any unit that does mean we are stuck with that one they assigned and we won’t have any choice?
This is something that seems to vary from management to management. I **think** the general rule of thumb is that you basically get what you've been assigned. And that's pretty much been own personal experience, even when I've asked about other units. However, there's been other people from different lotteries that have asked and they were given another option. At the end of the day, I feel like it never hurts to simply inquire
