Can anyone explain what happens after signing a floor plan? Does it mean the apt is guaranteed or does it mean it needs more processing and approval ? ( do you still have to anxiously wait longer ? ) thanks!

am in the 1500's and have no preference, signed a floor plan on the second week of Jan, and waiting for the city approval for then sign the lease.
Don't be offended but I find it strange that someone with a relatively high log# and NO preference already has had the oppurtunity to sign a floor plan, when I'm sure there are people with lower log #'s and preferences that are still waiting for a response. If thats the case, then what is the point of having a log # in the first place?

actually was my mistake i do have a preference, i have preference of mobility impairment. i forgot that a condition like that was a preference, i was referring that i didn't have the CB or municipal preference.
Astorian and mjbnyc:
Quick question for you guys
I also signed a floor plan for a 1 bedroom apt awaiting approval from housing department for signing of the lease.
Does this mean we are guaranteed the apartment no matter what?
