Wow. Just WOW. This one shocks me. I never thought we'd see a Cici's pizza anywhere in NJ, and certainly not North Jersey. First Arby's and now, Cici's comes to East Rutherford!! Maybe Fazoli's (please!) will be next!
For those who don't know, CiCi's is a no frills, cheap-a-- pizza buffet. They're HUGE in the south. (I know of them from when my family lived in Florida, so I've been there several times.)
Now, the pizza certainly isn't going to put Turvino's, Nellie's or Kinchley's out of business. But the pizza isn't as bad as other people make it out to be either. And for $5 or $6 (it used to be $2.99 in FL 10-12 years ago) it's a good way to get a lot of food for not a lot of money. It's fun for the kids too!
I think that they're going to do pretty well. Sometimes you just need a fun, easy place where the whole family can go for not a lot of money. I'll be heading there soon!
Supposedly they're building one in Cherry Hill too, for you southern NJers.
It will do well. There huge in the south because they do not have authentic italian NJ pizza lol. Still though 5 6 bucks for unlimited pizzas sounds pretty awesome to me
Oh, God. I've seen it all. What business does this place have opening in North Jersey? Why somebody would choose this, over your mom and pop hole in the wall pizzeria, in BERGEN COUNTY no less...is COMPLETELY, completely beyond me.
Cici's is what I call Junk Pizza. We have them all over here. There happens to be a Pizza Buffet I found here, with owners from Brooklyn orginally. When I want a Buffet I go there.
Yeah Cicis probably is junk but it will probably do well.
Why do you think it will do well, I'm curious?
