How's Thursday, the 27th? Downtown Franklin? Feel free to suggest otherwise.

Thursday, 11:30, all NorCal peeps come to Mellow Mushroom on the square for lunch. We'll talk about our experience here (humid!), what we miss (political tolerance!), and how thankful we are now that Trader Joe's and Nordy's are here. Okay, probably far more interesting conversation than that!

Sad to hear that the region that raised me is lacking in olerance, and by extension Texas, since the 2 states are politically aligned as can be (if not necessarily culturally). Oh wait a minute almost forgot, Glenn Beck moved to Dallas because -- his family would regularly get screamed at by presumed "progressive" strangers in Central Park! So maybe we're OK after all, Dallas seems to better tolerate his family than NYC.

Sorry to miss it but I am (thankfully) back in NORCAL for 2 weeks of work (and shopping). How many cases of wine can I ship, I wonder.

Oddly enough I just read that you can ship 3 cases of wine per year to TN. How they keep track I have no idea . . . . .

Tennessee Wine Shipping Laws

From a winery, so I'm guessing the winery has to keep track.
