This was played at a boatload of graduation ceremonies in the early 80s, often in conjunction with 35mm slideshows. (Remember those in lieu of PowerPoint?) Le Roux, "Nobody Said It Was Easy".

Noted as the first New Zealand band to ever play on MTV, this one was played on MTV's first day 35 years ago. Split Enz, "History Never Repeats".

There is currently a band out there called Walk The Moon, with the song "Shut Up and Dance: deinitely getting into your head if you hear it (a lot). However, in the mid 80s there was another band of the same name, with "Daddy's Coming Home".
