So, how about some never-before-posted Fates Warning from 1988? The new lead singer, Ray Alder, reminds me of another prog-metal singer, Geoff Tate of Queensrÿche.

^I love that band. They deserve(d) so much more. Their new album is excellent, too. Best thing they've done since the early '90s (just like Queensryche and their newest CD). I posted "Silent Cries" in the Twin Lead Guitar Teams thread, but not this one!

I listened to the song again.
It has that typical european schlager feel to it.

Jon Bon Jovi was briefly a guitarist for this band in 1983.

Noted in the video "Love's Got a Line on You". Didn't even look much like him.

Paul Reynolds' guitar playing was overshadowed in the band A Flock of Seagulls. A decent example of his abilities, "Telecommunication".

Heard this today in a supermarket... odd to hear John Fogerty there. A never-been-posted song, "Change in the Weather", from 1986.
