Yo Yo Yo, still that Freestyle stuff from late 80s/early 90s rocks da house. Ladies galore roaming the dance floor &, to me, best bang for da buck. Ok, if you ain't a guy, maybe not so. But you ladies know full well that it is danceable tunage.
Some title songs to James Bond movies performed well on the charts. Carly Simon ("Nobody Does It Better") and Paul McCartney and Wings ("Live and Let Die") went to #2 in the US, and Sheena Easton's "For Your Eyes Only" went to #4. Only one song has made it to #1 in the US, Duran Duran's "A View to a Kill" in 1985. All previously-mentioned songs came from Roger Moore Bond films. (More recent Adele and Madonna title songs went to #8.) The next movie in 1987, with Timothy Dalton as James Bond, featured A-ha and "The Living Daylights"... it didn't chart in the US.
