Forgot a BIGGIE:

I Wonder - Kellie Pickler (autobiographical song - American Idol finalist Kellie sings about growing up without her mother...the fact that its true really makes you sad and feel for her...very genuine)

Kind of stretching it, but some more sad songs (though I'm a guy so I dont' cry)

Not a Day Goes By - Lonestar (man just can't let go of lost girlfriend)

Smile - Lonestar (man lets girl go but he'll always miss her)

Tonight I Wanna Cry - Keith Urban (title explains it all...not that sad BUT the tone can get to some ppl!!!)

Tim Mcgraw - Taylor Swift (yes..this song is named after Tim McGraw but Ta)

For people who might want to hear some of these songs, if you go to myspace and click on the music tab, you can run a search for the artist- many of them have pages with four or five songs listed that you can click on to listen.

"Love Stinks"
Just kidding.
Certain songs, in certain keys, that have violins. Can't tell you exactly which ones, but those violins get me.

Now that Memorial Day is upon us, I think it is appropriate to mention a few that emphasize the ultimate sacrifice made by our men and women in uniform.

These ones always bring me to tears when I hear them:

Arlington - Trace Adkins
The 8th of November - Big and Rich
Some Gave All - Billy Ray Cyrus

Actually Brel wrote the music, the lyrics are from a poem by Rod McKuen with the same title.
