The why do people hate rap thread became a downer so I created my own about the rap music I love and you can share the ones you love. But since this is my thread; I get to make the rules

1) Song has to be recent - no older than 2008. No going back and talking about the good old days of Public Enemy and Kool Mo Dee.

2) You gotta provide a link - either a video or a sound clip so if you put something that I'm not familiar with I can listen too

3) You gotta put why you like the song.

Okay, I'll go first (duh) I like Luda's One More Drink. Even though I'm tired of T-Pain, I still like the song. The music is kinda laid back, makes me think of music from the early 90's.I also like the comical aspect of the video - come on you know the prosthetic arm was funny!

Plus who can't relate to seeing somebody through the beer googles although I had some good friends who wouldn't let me go home with a random club guy, I've gotten a little too friendly with some people under the influence of Patrone & Grey Goose.

While I wouldn't say it was the Best Song Ever, it's on my IPod in the clean up and dance section. Oh I can't YouTube at work so that's why I used a MTV video

YouTube - Ludacris - Down In The Dirty (video)

Ludacris- Down in the Dirty South

I like this song because Ludacris really digs to find great lyrics which is a lost art in today's hip-hop.

I like the song but the animation is in a strange way intriguing:

The Cool Kids

YouTube - The Cool Kids - Delivery Man official video

Good use of current production style. Interesting and has a good organ riff.

I like the beat of this song but the remixes got on my nerves. The one thing I'll give them credit for though is each remix is different - I hate the remixes where it's the same damn song and they just add somebody into the middle of the song. Like the Can't believe it remix with Justin Timberlake. I'm not a big Shawty Lo fan but if I do like Foolish.

I never heard this its cool

I’m really feeling Go Hard by Kanye West although Khaled got on my nerves on both the song and in the video. The video was lame just a bunch of dudes standing around but Kanye really delivered on this song. I like the beat – I like most of the Runners stuff cause it’s like that get hype, you bet not **** with me kinda vibe, I like working out to this song. The last line is CRAZY Cool thread
