eh, there are a lot of Asian torture/splatter/porn films that make this film look like child's play.
Such as? I am just curious which ones you would pick because I have seen a lot of Asian horror and I have to say that the clips I have seen of The Human Centipede are among the most disgusting things I have ever seen in my life. I want to make sure I don't accidently get an Asian horror that is actually worse lol.

Off the top of my head......Men Behind the Sun, Bunman, Ebola Syndrome, Red Room 1 & 2, Grotesque,Guinea Pig Series- Flowers of Flesh & Blood and Mermaid in the Manhole. I'm not saying any of these movies are good, they really aren't, but they are relatively gross/gory.
Maybe it's just my offbeat sense of humor but I found The Human Centipede (well, the clips I've seen) to be funny, not really gross or horrific. The whole concept is just too ridiculous to be scary, imo, and the women joined together don't really mimic, or even vaguely remind me of, a centipede.
There's also a Russian film called Philosophy of a Knife that is very gory and disgusting. You'd probably want to avoid that one too.

Thanks for listing those. Some I may check out and some I probably will avoid. I just got so skeeved out by the preview of The Human Centipede that it surprised me. Usually it takes a lot to gross me out but ten seconds into it I was starting to freak out lol.
The film centres upon a German surgeon - Dr Heiter - who is a master of separating conjoined twins. However, he entertains ambitions of one day attatching previously unconjoined individuals in order to create new beings, initially attempting to conjoin three dogs.
Unfortunately, the three-dog is short-lived. However, the doctor is then inspired to create a 'human centipede' from three individuals, who share a single digestive system. Having trapped two young American women and kidnapped a Japanese man, he attached his victims by sewing the first girl's mouth onto the man's anus, and the second girl's mouth to the first girl's anus. Through this the doctor will only need to feed the man, with the girls forming the 'middle' and 'end' of the centipede being 'fed' the fecal matter.[2]
The doctor then begins to train his grotesque creation as a pet, resisting repeated attempts by the tortured creature to fight back, while trying to keep interest from the outside world at bay."
^^^ I've been wondering about that feeding through fecal matter part. I didn't think fecal matter had the vitamins and minerals a human needs to survive. I mean, poop is basically the leftover material that a human body can't absorb, right? Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

sounds hilarious
That gives the term, "pulling the train" a whole new meaning.
