Hubby and I finally got to watch it and although it was a good movie we both agreed that it shouldn't have won the Academy Award.

I loved that movie and was so happy it won.
I thought the story telling was very clever. It was a great adventure and I was amazed at the places it took me.
Loved the music too. Thanks for reminding me. I need to see it again

I thought it was very deserving of the award. It creative and if you really think about it, the movie was very deep. The movie was about how life experiences shape a person more than their education and that you can never judge a person by where they come from.

I rarely buy DVDs and I own that one.

That dance at the end was odd, though. Reminded me of Michael Jackson's Thriller video...perhaps that's their basis for American culture...but slightly outdated, if it is.

Bollywood is all about big dance numbers like that. You'll see them in most Indian films.

Personally, I didn't care for the movie at all.

I agree, the dance scene at the end was rather peculiar. Overall, I liked it and the movie in general. It really showed how rough life is/was in the areas the boys/girl were raised.

This movie is terrible. I recommend this film to only those I wish to visually torture.

I actually enjoyed this film. It also made a huge profit, especially, when it was on a low budget cost.

There are plenty of good American movies to view. Nobody needs to see this piece of garbage.
