Channel-flipping, I came across a small movie I'd never heard of – Taking Woodstock (2009). I enjoyed it even if it's not totally accurate (what movie is?). Directed by Ang Lee so it's nice to look at. I like this trivia taken from imdb:

According to The Washington Post, screenwriter and producer James Schamus told reporters at the Cannes Film Festival that the biggest challenge in casting extras for the film was to find people "who were not working out all the time, and who still had pubic hair."

LoL

Finally saw Pacific Rim: Not bad, I think it deserved a better run at the US box office than it got.

I kept hearing about A Girl With a Dragon Tattoo, so I finally watched it on netflix.

It was so so. 6/10

Thought the Vanger case was complicated & very hard to follow. I also thought the movie went along too fast to make sense of the different family members, & therefore I had difficulty getting drawn in to the story.

I've heard the American version is much better, so I want to see it.

I've also heard the mini series on netflix is better because it goes in to more detail from the books than the movies are allowed to get in to.

Went this afternoon to see "Heaven Is For Real." Loved it and though the movie was every bit as good as the book. The young actor who played the little boy who'd been to heaven was adorable and did a great job. I liked Greg Kinnear too.
