I watched an oldie-All About Eve with Bette Davis.

I want to re-watch Gaslight with Ingrid Bergman.

Also, Suddenly Last Summer with Elizabeth Taylor. That is such an amazingly spooky movie. With the proper direction and dialogue you don't need special effects to create horror. Brilliant.

Don't know if anyone has commented on this movie yet, but "Nebraska" is a wonderful new movie about an old coot who thinks he has won $1,000,000 from a "Publisher's Clearing House" type magazine company and wants to go to Nebraska to claim his prize. Some parts are very moving and others just plain funny. A good look at a father-son relationship as the son drives his to Nebraska to "collect his $1MM." Thoroughly engrossing.

I watched that on Red Box streaming about a week ago, I enjoyed it much more than I had expected to.

Them Indie dramas with a simple plot, sure can be a joy to watch!
Movies like that is a much needed relief from all those high budget CGI-driven disappointments Hollywood studios has been pumping out for a decade or so.

That said, on a whim, I rented Mortal Instruments (City of Bones). I had no idea what the movie was about (Red Box rental) and after watching it, I still do not know what it was about! LOL

Fast and Furious 6, perhaps a little over the top and probably not as good as the 1st one, was as enjoyable as the rest.

Watched the Departed the other night. Caught a few things I didn't notice when I saw it before. Moved the movie rating from a 6 to an 8 for me. Still think Jack kind of mailed it in though.
