Dolphin Tale. Just saw it this afternoon. It was pretty good. Based on a true story. So, I look at our county newspaper and the doctor who made the tail is coming to our area.

XMen First Class. Enjoyed it way more than I thought I would and it had nothing to do with all that man candy. Some of it was a little bit too soppy, (My take on a couple of scenes, not quotes, goes as: I really love you man, lets make out. The rest of the group, lets all hold hands and sing camp songs. Other than those things, it was pretty fun to watch.

All Over Me. It's about a Hell's Kitchen teenage lesbian coming to terms with her sexuality, her devotion to her screwed up best female friend and her first glimpse of a homosexually-directed hate crime against a gay male acquaintance.

Watched "Black Stallion" again over the weekend on TV, Francis Ford Coppula production, 1970s or so, with Mickey Rooney as aged man taking the Oscar. You gotta love horses, tho. One beautiful movie, perfectly done, about a desert horse and a boy.

I watched Cheaper by the Dozen again tonight. Steve Martin is one of my favorite actors and I forgot how well Tom Welling played his part as well.

Midnight in Paris, very good film, the best Woody Allen movie in the last decade or so.

I'd definitely argue that there was some pretty heavy subtext there...

They Were Expendable with John Wayne and the gorgeous Donna Reed. Good WW2 movie.
