“Harriet”
Thought it was excellent
Shot mainly on location in VA
didn’t recognize the star as character in “Widows”
Totally different in her physical demeanor (as well as physical look)
Older elementary kids should go see this
Not too violent except one scene where character is killed
Spoiler
Janell Monea’s character is beaten to death to protect Harriet—don’t know if that was historical

Thought maybe so
And her character had a very Southern speaking voice to have been born and raised in Philadelphia

Blackway” directed by Daniel Alfredson on Netflix—
Anthony Hopkins, Julia Stiles, Ray Liotta, and Alexander Ludwig (the bad boy from 1st Hunger Games)
Unexpected pleasure (and I don’t care for Stiles that much at all but she was ok in this)
Hopkins seems a little out of place because of his diction maybe but character holds true
Ludwig was a gem—brought some individuality to what could have been a flat character—didn’t expect that

I thoroughly enjoyed it—reviews lead you to believe pedestrian fare—but it is really a retelling of the Don Quixote theme set in Pacific NW logging country built around vengeance by three unlikely heroes...
Hal Holbrook has small featured role

Netflix comedy special "Seth Meyers: Lobby Baby"

I laughed out loud throughout. Most of his material was about his wife and family. 5/5
