Hundra

Started it on "Swords and Clubs" Monday, finished it on "DIE, SPY!" (well, it is sort of a counter insurgency flick) Tuesday.

It's a pretty good well made movie. Decent photography, good animal wrangling, great costuming, a wonderful looking villain, and a pretty decent happy ending. With all the Barbarian flicks that came out in the 80s, it would be easy for someone to rake this flick over the coals. Further, one story can usually seem like another, either in the story line or the sound track or the action.

Me, I take the movie for what it is, 100 minutes or so to engage another world, a chance to get away from things for a moment.

It's an enjoyable little lark of a love story, 90 minutes of a getaway.

Over The Top. 8 out of 10.

I remember when this movie first came out. There were arm wrestling competition all over school. Money won and lost. Talk about a movie that influence a move.

The Showtime Channel has been showing The Kings Speech several times this week. I own the dvd but hadn't seen this in a while, so I tuned in a bit ago. It's a tremendous film!

Spider-Man Far from Home 8/10

Great fun and great twists, which were obvious if you know the comics.
Loved the mid credit scene setting up the next film and the actor they had playing the part is the only actor they could have got.
