Alec Baldwin, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Fred Ward
Funny, non-traditional police drama about a psycho who steals a cop's gun n badge and his upper teeth...

Escobar: Paradise Lost (also known as Paradise Lost) is a 2014 romantic thriller film, written and directed by Andrea Di Stefano.[4][5] It is the directorial debut of Di Stefano. The film chronicles the life of a surfer who falls in love while working with his brother in Colombia and finds out that the girl's uncle is Colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar.[6]
RADiUS-TWC acquired the North American distribution rights of the film in February 2014.[7][8] The film premiered at the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival on September 11, 2014.[9] and had a limited release in the United States on June 26, 2015.

Just saw a movie about maybe the bravest, most inspiring, most decent human beings in the world right now: The White Helmets. I'd heard about them before the movie won the Oscar, but the film only cemented my profound admiration for these men and women. It's just breathtaking how good human beings can be sometimes in the face of so much ugliness.

Highest grade I've ever given a gay film.
Based on a true story.
Very detailed psychological portrait.
James Franco is one heck of an actor.
I have been wanting to see this. It looked really good based on the trailer.

La Vie en Rose - Marion Cotillard is one of, if not the best actress ever in the world.

Monster's Ball - The sex scene was longggggggggggg. I honestly think Billy Bob Thornton steals the show.

Narrow Margin (1990) - IMDb

I must have bought it during an Anne Archer buying spree.

Decent for an afternoon flick.......I was watching it for my DIE, SPY! Tuesday theme. I had started out with Steve Martin's "Novocaine".....but I wasn't enjoying it since I have a dentist appointment this week, so I switched.

Actually there was another gay film I rated higher:
Monster = 10/10
I Am Michael = 6/10
Moonlight = 5/10
But Monster was more about the fact she was a serial killer.

Moonlight. Excellent film and worthy of its (belated) Oscar.
