Rockwell was excellent
McDormand -- thought she was excellent --
her character's flaws are not HER fault but that of the writer--she simply executes the premise she is given
So thought lot of the critics were faulting the wrong party
I really liked the woman playing Rockwell's mother--
Well in a way, yes. We are watching this sad, sick story of Gerald Foos unfold. He was a sick man.
Like a Russian doll set--
Yes--he did turn any audience into another layer of voyeur...
That is the nature of documentary or any really good movie--
