I watched the foreign movie Ambrosia. The movie is Canadian. The movie stars the Iranian-Canadian actress Sahar Biniaz. Biniaz is one of the prettiest women in the world.
In a nut shell the movie is about a failing pizza shop due to the recession, an aspiring fashion designer (the wife of the pizza shop owner), the recession, the fashion designer's female boss hitting on her, abortion, divorce and reconciliation in Vancouver, Canada. Corny acting but I watched it because of Biniaz.
Sergeant York starring actor Gary Cooper as Sgt Alvin York that was awarded the Medal of Honor during WW1 for heroism
a true story about an American hero,
another great movie I saw recently "To HELL and BACK" starring Audey Murphy as himself, another highly decorated war hero that was awarded the CMH during WWII.
I generally don't watch movies, but my cable company decided to give me a free month preview of HBO, so over the past few weeks I have watched:
Ted 2: 0 stars. Keep in mind, I was getting the movie for free and I turned it off less than an hour in. I don't mind that the humor was R-rated, I minded that it was retarded. It was literally like "can I get a rise out of the audience by talking about black guy's penises at random?"
Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials: The acting was mediocre and the plot was predictable, but it would have generally been worth the price of admission. I sort of don't like how it was so transparently serialized (meaning, the end was clearly just leading you into watching the next movie), but I guess it worked for the first one, so whatever.
Mad Max: Fury Road: I'd give this four stars. It was fun to watch and the acting was pretty decent for an action movie. It was cartoony, but in a good way. Even though it's just an action movie, it definitely can be re-watched.
