Land of Mine -- Danish film about German soldiers (mostly teenage boys) right after WW2 being forced to remove landmines from the Danish coast that the German army installed because they thought taht was where DDay would happen. The story is so so but the acting performances and scenery and photography is top-notch. 7/10.

The Wailing -- Korean horror/ghost story (some say a Korean Exorcist) that is about 30 minutes too long with a meandering plotline that isn't quite sure what it wants to be. Something is haunting a small village and possessing its inhabitants to kill their family ... is it who they think it is? Acting performance is great , especially the little girl, but the twists sure seem unnecessary. 5/10.

The Infiltrator(2016) - I saw it with a friend the other night and I thought that it was a good overall film. Bryan Cranston was great which isn't surprising and there were parts that were insightful in a way. I do think that a few of the roles were miscast though, just my opinion.

We went last a week ago to the theater and saw:
The Secret Life of Pets.
It is cute the first time but I would not choose to watch it again.

"The Secret Life of Pets"

beautifully animated, top notch voice cast, I found it warm and fun. I'll definetely be buying this one to watch at home, a real '"feel good" movie.
