It was beautiful story. Li's dance was stunning, breathtakingly.
Riki and the Flash-aging rock musician who abandoned her family to seek stardom is called back after her daughters marriage breaks up. Great music, well acted and a must see. Great cast of Meryl Streep (and her real life daughter co-stars) Rick Springfield, Audra McDonald and Kevin Kline.
Loved the book but was very disappointed by the movie. They changed too many things and it was waaay too long. DiCaprio's
acting was up to snuff, Tom Hardy was superb (wish he had been in more scenes), and the bear attack scene was well-done. Everything else was meh.
It was on AMC Classic Movie Channel just a few hours ago and IS a classic!
