I have sworn off movie theaters. Far too many obnoxious morons who don't get that when the movie starts you're supposed to SHUT UP.
Guess, our German movie theaters are quieter. I've only had it once or twice that I can remember when I was really p****d about the rude behaviour of some other "guests".
I'm glad that our theaters are sometimes so empty you can sit feet away from others and enjoy the movie.
I saw most of Knowing yesterday. I fell in and out of sleep and finally woke up for good with around fifteen minutes and the leading lady screaming, "They have the CHILDREN!! We have to save the CHILDREN!!" That was enough for me. I left. Frankly I didn't care if they saved the omgCHILDREN!! or not.
The last movie I saw in a theater was Final Destination 3. Unfortunately, my s/o is not into theaters or movies, so we have to wait until movies go on DVD in order to see them.
I saw Observe and Report (4/10 from me) and was disappointed on Friday. Last night I saw Adventureland and was actually surprised at how focused it was on "coming of age" and not crude humor. I liked it lots more than Observe and Report. I gave it a 7/10.
