Silver Shamrock! I love that movie too. I met the lead actor, Tom Atkins. He was really a great guy and full of really fun stories. He was also costar to Jamie Curtis in The Fog... another really great horror film.

Today I had a bunch of ironing to do and I'm stuck home on call at work, so I did a back to back comparison of Night of the living dead original and the remake. I still can't choose which I like more!

I shouldn't have done it but the prices were too good! I went to Best Buy today and returned with the following:

Bug $4.99
Child's Play 20th Ann $4.99
The Descent $4.99
Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer 2 disc $6.99
28 Weeks Later $6.99

Been meaning to pick up Bug, The Descent, and 28 Weeks Later as I enjoyed them all. Couldn't resist Child's Play for five bucks. Took a chance on Jack Brooks as I've heard positive things, it just came out last week, and it was 2 discs for only seven bucks! Couldn't resist

The Witches is a good movie.
That movie with Angelica Houston, where she plays a witch that turns kids into mice. I love that movie.

Speaking of songs you can't get out of your head... "One two Freddy's coming for you..." I love Nightmare on Elm Street, especially #3 dream warriors.

They had about 15-20 horror movies on sale for $4.99 and $6.99. Really good deals going on this week! I wanted to buy a few more but trying not to spend too much so held back. Lots of ones I don't have and have been meaning to pick up. Hope you find some good ones

PS......I can relate on buying things and then finding them cheaper. I bought a new computer a few months ago and then they knocked back prices by a hundred bucks two weeks later......arghhh!
