I agree with many of those names already mentioned.

One that I did not see on the list is John Candy. I can't think of any movie he was in that I didn't like.

Did anyone mention Randolph Scott? How about Walter Brennan?

Of course we can't forget Charleton Heston, even though he's only been gone a little while.

Jimmy Stewart
Katherine Hepburn
Yul Brenner
Charleton Heston...

On and on I could go. I say bring back most ALL the great movie stars/legends. They must be rolling over in their graves at how people can become "celebrities" nowadays! i.e. Paris Hilton Oh,to have the "old" Hollywood back! Now that was entertainment.

The entire cast of Gone With the Wind.
I would just love to see if Vivien Leigh was that exquisite in real life.
And then I'd go out barhopping with Clark Gable and Hattie MacDaniel.

Bruce Lee and Brandon Lee.
The father and son died much too early, which ironically was also at the top of their career, right before their big Hollywood breakthrough.

Decatur that is hilarious! Watch Hattie closely when Gable gives her the brandy!

The sardonic, mordant Eve Arden is one for the ages. If only we could get "Our Miss Brooks" on DVD - she really got a chance to shine in that.

I visited her grave at Westwood Cemetery and her plaque says, "The World Will Remember". What a nice tribute.
