"Aeon Flux" No reason to watch this film. except to see how special effects handled the transition from the original animation to live actors. I thought it was quite well executed. Animators kept the original movements very stylized, and Charlize did a decent job of learning to walk likr Wiley Coyote. I liked it.

PLatforms-a very tall vertical building with many floors, there is just one room on each floor with 2 occupants and in the middle of the room is where a platform will descend from the top floor each day.
On the top floor each morning a team of chefs will gather and prepare a sumptous feast of lobster, prime rib, sushi, sashimi, shrimp cocktail, fried prawn, pork loin, mouse, cake, ice cream, brownies, salad, rice, bread, pasta etc etc and load them on the platform.
each floor will have x minutes for the tenants to enjoy what is on that platform and spit and throw all the shells ,bones, soiled napkins back to the platform.
As you can see, those on higher floor never go hungry while the lower floor eat less and the lowest floor starve.
One day 2 guys decide to play vigilantes and jumped on the platform as it descends to make sure every floor eats no more than its fair share .
As it keeps descending,to their horror, there are more floors than they knew, and they start to see human skeletons as there is not much to eat, then further down, they see dead bodies.
finally they arrived at the bottom of the building, and you have to watch the movie yourself to figure how it ended.

Yeah, I remember that one. I saw it once. Meh.

Well, it's not "Killing Time" (1998) but it's fun enough. It is done on video tape, it takes a while to get things moving, but it can hold the attention. Say a 6.6.

Talladega Nights is a good film. So are The Other Guys, The House, and Eurovision Song Contest.

A Touch of Frost: Appendix Man

Entertaining for what it is, just sit there and enjoy, but the solving of the mystery moves much too fast for us amateurs. We end up feeling as lost as DS Wallace! Sort of a mixture of emotions in this one in that one is not really sure about the honesty of some people. A 7.5.
