I'm talking about how Miyagi is leading Wimpo-SON during the fight.
Mr. Miyagi gives him slight nod as he tosses the bridge. IMHO telling Wimpo-SON, I'm right here to help you.
Mr. Miyagi gives him a chance to fight on his own. We see Kumiko have more backbone.
Come on Crane boy, like Chozen doesn't know that move.
Mr. Miyagi gives stern look of disappointment.
Mr. Miyagi decides Wimpo-SON needs more coaching.
IE: "Step back Wimpo-SON, Step back"
Chozen is too fast & strong for Wimp-SON so out come the drums. Mr Miyagi, then the whole village. Basically telling Wimpo-SON this is the only way you can win. Use the drum technique.
Not even close to being a realistic confrontation. If it was Wimpo-SON would've been out for the count right away.
"Wimp-SON".......... LOL
I agree that Chozen was a badazz villian and a great martial artist. The fact that Daniel fought him in a no-holds bar fight, given the size/skill advantage of Chozen, it seemed pretty unrealistic how Daniel beat him. When Daniel beat Johnny and Mike Barnes, it was unrealistic too but it was in a tournament style, so a lot of the reason he won was because of tournament rules. He still looked weaker than Johnny and Mike Barnes, even though he won.
I rooted for Daniel and really liked him, but this was the ultimate "Wimp-SON" scene in my book (he just looks so shook out of his mind, lol):
I loved most of the KK movies but not part 4 or the Jackie Chan one.
I am re-watching Cobra Kai and think it is very well done, perhaps a little cheesy.
The one thing that gets me seeing these kids fight like masters after just few months training lol.

Have you watched both seasons of Cobra Kai fully? There were a few parts that were a little cheesy, but overall IMO, it is a pretty dark and at times very emotional drama. I loved it!
The Jackie Chan/Jayden Smith remake was better than I expected, but overall, I didn't love it like the originals.
KK 4 was by far the worse IMO. It didn't feel like a KK film to me.
I love, love, love the Cobra Kai series. I am a huge fan of the first two Karate kid movies and always have been since the 80s. highly recommend the new show.
parts 1 and 2 I'll watch when ever it's on, when I was a teenager I had a crush on Ralph Macchio. My husband thinks the movies are stupid. Never saw any of the others or remakes.
lubby good morning, always suspicious why it's REALLY written in that his love interests always choose something/someone else over him. LOL
