Terry Silver was one EVIL villain, lol. I remember his devious smile and laugh. He played that role a little too well hahaha. I heard that the actor (Ian something I think?) was a really skilled martial artist.
Thomas Ian Griffith. You'll also remember him as the main bad guy in John Carpenter's Vampires.
TKKIII was Griffith's first feature role. He holds black belts in Tae Kwon Do and Kenpo.
Part 1 - Daniel learns karate after getting his behind kicked for bullying the Cobra Kai kids, especially Johnny. Yes. Daniel was the bully. He kicked Johnny's face and won. He had guts. Johnny gives him the second place trophy and congratulates him.
Part 2 - Daniel fights Chozen. "Daniel-san...this not tournament. This for real." And Daniel still goes and fight him.
Part 3 - "Nooooo!!! I don't wannnnaaaa!" How could Daniel come from Part 1 and 2, with guts, to being this whiny annoying person? If I was Mr. Miyagi, I'd kick Daniel's behind too.
The Next Karate Kid - Never saw it.
Cobra Kai - Jesus, Daniel and Johnny. It's over 35 years ago! Let it go! STOP LIVING IN THE PAST! You have a nice auto dealership! You're rich! You have it all! Stop living in the past! And Johnny...stop blaming Daniel and Sid for your f-ups. You lost the tournament. Big deal. You could go to college, do something, make something out of yourself. Quit crying about Ali.
I think it should have went 1, 3 and 2 in order. Logically speaking. Again, Kreese and Silver weren't completely wrong in their teaching. In war, you have to be trained a certain way. And these methods can serve you in real life, as well.
Ralph Macchio is the youngest looking person in history! He is 58 now, and could still pass for being in his 30's. When he was in KK, he was in his mid 20's-30 and he looked like he was a high schooler.
It is unbelievable that he was older than Thomas Ian Griffith in KK3.
