Marisa looks way too young to be Aunt May (who should be grey or greying).
And a "romance" between May and...Happy?! Who wrote this?
Overall, color me unimpressed. Sorry.
May is whatever age they want her to be. She was aged and deaged in the comics several times by now. I don't mind Marissa Tomei as Aunt May, she should have been in more movies IMHO. I mean she was great in My Cousin Vinnie and The Wrestler and she is actually a really good Aunt May from what she does in the film. Much better than the one in the Sam Raimi films...

Then again I hated Spider-Man Into The Spider Verse.
I apologize, what you are basing off of are from a post from the initial trailers which most of the movie isn't in it to be honest.

Straight off I don’t like Tom Holland I personally liked Andrew Garfield better i saw the first Spider man with Holland and I felt like I was watching a movie that should of been called “The Iron Spider.” This one doesn’t look much difference in that sense. Peter should be out of H.S now, can we move past this please?

That cautions me to leap if you ever shout "Duck!"

If Peter Parker is only 16, then Aunt May easily could be anywhere from 26 to 60 without raising an eyebrow. Marisa Tome the actori is 54. If she was playing an Aunt May her own age, that would have made her 38 when Peter Parker was born...not a problem at all. A little old, if anything.

As much as I love the Spidey comics of the '60s and '70s, the dottering ol' sweetie Aunt May I always found incredibly annoying. I much prefer the middle-aged, stronger, smarter Aunt May. Not necessarily from the movies, but from the ULTIMATE universe.
