I wouldn't call it a horror film like, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre. Very subtle, for the first half of the movie. I thought Grandma and Grandpa acted very well.

Is it scary and suspenseful or is there also a lot of gore?

There was no gore, some blood. The movie looked all PG-13

More psychological thriller with jumps. While it wasn't gore-y, the violent scenes were a little graphic in he seems of noises and realistic feeling splatter. No gratuitous violence. Maybe a good analogy is Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

I think the actors gave great performances. Every actor's physicality made things so believable. Great use of facial expressions throughout the entire movie.

I think Jean Paul Sartre's quote from No Exit, "hell is other people" is quite fitting for this movie!

Really odd to see this movie getting such little interest here. I thought this film was very interesting. Somethings hit me very close to home.
