For awhile now, I've wanted to indulge deep into the horror movie genre. I have seen most of the original Friday the 13th films, Saw films and Child's Play films. That is about it. I probably have seen some other horror movies but as of right now, they're not that memorable.
Seeing that I am practically starting from scratch, where should I begin? Are there any good websites out there that are filled with good horror movie resources that can help me out? Or any websites that have full-length films on them?
THE CLASSICS:
Psycho
The Haunting of Hill House
The Exorcist
Rosemary's Baby
Night of the Living Dead
Bride of Frankenstein
Carrie
The Shining
Halloween
Friday the 13th
The Howling
An American Werewolf in London
Silence of the Lambs
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (the original)
ALIEN
OTHER GOOD ONES:
The Dead Zone
The Fly (remake from the '80s)
The Thing (both original and remake from the '80s)
Creepshow (great campy fun)
Silver Bullet (good campy fun)
Storm of the Century
Slither
Le Pacte des Loups (Brotherhood of the Wolf)
Fright Night (original from the '80s)
Twilight Zone: The Movie
Psycho II (lacks the first film's brilliance, but still a good thriller)
Prom Night
Critters
Children of the Corn
