Personally, I was just listing ones I like. I've seen more horror movies than I can ever remember, so they really have to stand out for me to remember them.

I'd highly recommend watching films with Vincent Price. They're very well done. The ones that were Edgar Allen Poe adaptations and House on Haunted Hill are the best. Though The Raven and Comedy of Terrors aren't really horror films.

The last horror movie that I saw was Halloween 5. Guess that is what happens when a film is rushed.

I just saw "The Conjuring" and an independent horror film called "V/H/S". I highly recommend both horror movies.

Does FEARNET have a decent selection of films to start off with, for a novice?

I checked their TV listings, and honestly I hadn't even heard of most of those movies. Looks like mostly a B-movie channel that specializes in the B-minus films. Where is Joe Bob Briggs when we need him?
