I really liked it but Doomsday was really freakin' spoiled in those trailers. I don't see much spoiled in this Spider-Man movie honestly. Also DC learned that with Justice League and Wonder Woman.
The 35th Spider-Man film in 16 years (well, feels like it); thanks but no thanks. I will pass on yet another Spidey film. I wish they would just let people crave the character's return...wait at least ten or fifteen years; make audiences want another film. As popular as Spidey is, I cannot imagine this being a huge smash.
I enjoyed it. I liked that it didn't feel like another Spiderman reboot since it was part of the already established Marvel universe. I also liked that they skipped the whole origin story aspect. By now everyone knows how he was bitten by a spider, his uncle is dead, yada yada yada... I didn't need to see another rendition of all that, so glad that was skipped over.
I don't like Holland, but I really don't like the new suit. Looks like it came off the rack at the The Halloween Store, the same one where Cap got his Avengers suit.
