OK. It's really stupid, but I laughed so hard.
Mars Attacks.
Especially when Jack Nicholson made his "Why can't we
just get along?" comment.
And the Nelson Eddy music on the van that killed the aliens.
That was probably the best black comedy movie I ever saw.
I thought it was Slim Whitman's yodeling that did the trick.
I wouldn't call Mars Attacks a lousy movie. It is intentionally campy. It's meant to be a modern version of a '50s B movie. It succeeds admirably.
Sharknado I really tried to like, 'cause I love a good bad movie. But Sharknado broke even me. It wasn't bad in a good way. It was just bad. Most inept direction of any movie I have ever seen in my life --- and I have seen Plan 9 from Outer Space. No two scenes had anything to do with one another. It's like the director took 15 movies, chopped them up, then put 1 back together at random from the pieces.
