I just hope that Stephen King was not involved in the production. Every time he tries to produce one of his films they are not good.

Storm of the Century was fantastic. He was very involved with that one.

The movie was decent until the 'grand' finale at the prom.

What a let down. Barely anybody dies and there's no real blood. It's just a CGI showoff.

I don't even get why it was Rated R.

Definitely was a let down.

I don't agree, because I think the ending was way too graphic and violent compared to the first one. They really don't have to show all the gruesome stuff for you to know what happened. Wasn't the first one Rated R also? That was more mild it seems like.

The main difference is how they focused so much on the character of the mean girl this time. Plus the cell phone video thing.

Not bad overall. But a little too violent towards the end. Not as good as the original which was more realistic.

Seriously?

The prom scene was very not graphic.

The original definitely had much more of a punch. Carrie in that one let all hell break loose and killed everyone in her path.

In this one she just aimed for a select few bullies and had specific targets. And she couldn't even kill people that well either (those two twins were killed by other students that trampled on them).
