so many to choose from. i'll just list one i really like that may not be well known:

goodbye my lady (1956) starring walter brennan and brandon dewild played the kid, who also starred in shane (1953). young orphan being raised by his uncle finds a yodeling dog.

Um, how could we forget Benjie?????

I like dog movies but I absolutely don't like when the dog dies at the end...it really gets me down...like Ol' Yeller. At least in Turner and Hooch, Hooch's ***** has babies...and then we have puppy Hooches...that was adorable!!
