Lassie Come Home! Gotta have a Lassie movie in a dog movie thread! But I actually didn't like it all that much when I saw it as a kid. Loved the dog, though!

I cheated and looked through the IMDb list of dog movies to see if I could remember a great dog flick--my head is spinning from all the titles! I have to say I really enjoyed Cats and Dogs , but I tend to stay away from movies where the dog dies, and (like one of you pointed out) there are very few movies where that doesn't happen! Can't handle it. It hits too close to home . So of course I believe that All Dogs Go to Heaven...
