I had to sit through Furious 6 last night. My son wanted to see it because he's a fan of The Rock. I knew it would be awful, but even still, that was a rough way to spend 2+ hours. I don't know how grown adults actually enjoy this crap, but to each their own I guess.

Did you see anybody who looked over the age of 25 in the theater who wasn't there with a son or daughter?

I saw many of films and just for a few of them I can say that I like it. I like StarWars, 1st and 2nd parts were not bad, but 3rd part was the best of the three parts, the second half of this film is very dynamic. Cruel, unexpected events of the hero... I did not catch a deep thoughts of this films, but it is wonderful. If speak about films where I thought those were documentary ones. Majority about the cosmos. It force me to changes my representation of the order the world . Actually, all films and TV series make me think, I analyze every detail, every thing on the screen until while I have the possibility to do it. I cannot understand deep thing of films, probably, I just have no skill for it.

Invaders from Mars (the 1980s-era remake) was a waste of my time, too. A preview of SyFy Network movies to come!

Haha, the SyFy channel has a whole bunch of these and they so hilariously bad. My teen son and I love to watch these movies on our Bad Movies Night. Let's see, there was one with a prehistoric whale (hunted by Cpt Ahab on a nuclear sub) and another with a giant squid versus the giant shark (same one that fought against the prehistoric croc).
