Probably have seen these a couple of times. The area "ET" was filmed in, north of LA, was just being built out, and you can see houses being framed during the famous bicycle chase scene.

"Moonstruck" was great, but "My Cousin Vinny" was funnier. What a premise for a movie.

They both have lines that everyone just repeats over and over. Everytime there's a full moon I think of the movie and ever since I got my dog, when there's a full moon out I take him outside and recite:

Bella Luna from Moonstruck.wmv - YouTube

My husband just laughs at me and shakes his head

THis is off the top of my head, so there are others I'm forgetting:

Easily over 100 times
Stunt Man
Monty Python and the Holy Grail
Rocky Horror

Ones that approach 100 times
Muppet Movie
Morodor's Metropolis

Ones that easily could be more than 20 times
Lawrence of Arabia
GWTW
Landscape in the Mist
Back to the Future
Life of Brian
Mary Poppins
My Fair Lady
Sound of Music
Dr. Zhivago
2001
Star Wars (original)
Wizard of Oz
Cousin Vinnie
Fried Green Tomatoes
Godfather

Stunt Man is to me the quintessential film about films. When an author writes a book, or a film gets made, often the author doesn't himself understand all of the nuances that go into the work or the underlying archetypes that have been tapped. I could do a graduate level course on deconstructing the various levels in Stunt Man.

Holy Grail is an epitome of Brit. humor and a social commentary. When you have a super-educated group cutting up as comedians, strange and wondrous things can happen.

Rocky Horror is one I literally had to watch (to keep kids from ruining the screen and so on) but it is a film to watch to watch the audience. I'm sure some doctorals have been written on the movie and the audience participation.

When I was a pre teen I would watch the black and white Charlie Chan movies with my father. He liked movies and we spent many happy hours watching them. We also went to the theater to see all the Disney movies and most of the horror movies.

As a result, I have around 2000 movies and I watch the majority of them over and over.

To Kill A Mockingbird
Exodus
The Deer Hunter
The Chosen
Never Let Me Go
Hannah's War
QB VII
The Best of Everything
Noble House
Shogun
Perfect Creature
The Thing (original)
Casablanca
You've Got Mail
The Way West

I always buy movies, never rent. Because of this, I usually research the movies a lot before buying. And because of that nearly all the movies I own are movies I really, really like, and I've watched them all more than once, actually more than two or three times. But as you'd expect, there are some I've watched MANY more times than others.

Movies I've watched at least 20 times:

Mr. Smith Goes To Washington
The Philadelphia Story
It's A Wonderful Life
Mr. Deeds Goes To Town
You Can't Take It With You
City Lights
Braveheart (I don't even own this anymore. It was once my favorite movie when I was younger)
Bambi (Also no longer own it. Had a tape when I was younger and it's still one of my favorites)
Random Harvest

Movies I've watched at least 10 times:

The More The Merrier
Easy Living
Talk of The Town
Meet John Doe
All Quiet on The Western Front
The Gold Rush
Only Angels Have Wings
Princess Mononoke (This will probably be in the first category before long)
Nausicaa of The Valley of The Wind (same)
Spirited Away (same)

Movies I've watched at least five times:

Battleship Potemkin
Rope
Shane
Freaks
The Glenn Miller Story
Lost Horizon
Shawshank Redemption
Kiki's Delivery Service
Castle in the Sky
My Neighbor Totoro
An American Tail
The Secret of N.I.M.H.
The Land Before Time
Probably several others I'm forgetting

Those are just movies I own or have owned in the past. There may be others that would qualify for one of those categories that I'll remember later.
