Ugh! I just saw this horrible movie and wish I could have that 2 hours of my life back.
It was like watching my nephew play some combat shoot-out video game, but even less interesting.
Here's the plot: aliens invade earth at every major city, but all we see is LA, nothing about the rest of the world, or even how the major governments are handling it. Some US marines in LA fight some battles. Then they fight more battles. Then there's another battle scene. Then there's another battle scene. Then, you guess it, another battle scene. Then people express their feelings for a couple of minutes. Then another battle scene, then it's over. I just saved you the trouble of watching it.
So if you care about story, writing, special effects, or acting, you'll probably hate this movie. If you like watching or playing video games where people and aliens just shoot at each other, you'll love it.
