Honestly, the whole trailer was derivative. I mean, darn near every shot I saw in the trailer, I could name the movie from which it came. I know that's to be expected to a certain degree, but I saw no originality.

Hopefully, they'll borrow all the best stuff, but I don't have high hopes.

Didn't we just have a film about aliens taking over Los Angeles last year?

So far I've seen LA wiped out by earthquake, tsunami, fire and aliens. What's one more time?

Yes, the director and writer for Skyline were the ones who did the CGI for this movie. So they kind of took BLA and spun off it with their own crap. But trust me this movie will be so much better than Skyline.

You just don't know how to relax and enjoy movies. Movies are for entertainment. Its an alien invasion film. There have been those films since the beginning. So yes, everything has been done before. But if they can make awesome computer graphics imaging and cool battle scenes with a decent story line. Then it will accomplish its goal as a film and that is to entertain.

And no it will not be the same as other films before it. Every director has its way of interpreting words differently. From what I have seen from the trailer and the directors past films. It promises to be artistic visually.
