It is wise to believe nothing that our state government puts out for public consumption. That organization is Flim Flam Inc.

Old Cheat Road finally gets 4 way stop-signs at the 4-way intersection with Canyon Rd & N Pierpont Rd. There is always bad traffic build-up on Canyon Rd with folks leaving the offices in Coombs Farms area so this new scheme should help.

Now they need to get rid of the 3 way stop at Cheat Road/Tyrone-Avery that causes traffic backups all the way to I68 during rush hour.

Not trying to be argumentative, but ehat verifiable information supports this? Just like any project in this state, I'll believe it when I see it.

What would the option be to the 3 way stop sign? I use that route and actually find that the traffic at that 3 way stop sign moves well albeit slow. The light at Cheat Rd & N Pierpont Rd is where the initial build up starts from incoming I-68/Mileground Rd traffic. Over-all the light does help in flow-control.

Go back to the one way stop and let people who can't judge distances to get out get the free bus pass. It's the greenest option as well.

That may not work, vehicles on Tyrone Avery will be waiting forever during evening rush-hour to be able to get on to Cheat Rd. This was the scenario for Canyon Rd traffic waiting to get on to N Pierpont Rd or Old Cheat Rd.
