Going from 375 to 750-1,000 apartment units in downtown in such a short time frame is incredible. With 250 in the pipeline right now. I was surprised to see them say the St. Louis street apartments next to greers will be up by 2023. Has anyone heard of apartments on St. Michael and Dearborn? I remember seeing an al.com article that said someone purchased the land with apartments in mind

I wonder if that "250 in the pipeline" includes the St. Louis and Cedar project?

“Downtown is the safest, fastest growing area,” he said. “It is the heart of Mobile and we think it’s the future of Mobile.”

As more people look to live downtown, some might be in for sticker shock.
