Thought I'd repost this here. Can't believe Politico thought the WI state flag was the flag of the local union put up by the White House. On top of that, they made a big deal about how it was even the same size as the American Flag! You just can't make this stuff up!!!

Too funny! Way to jump to conclusions.

I hadn't heard of Politico until now, so maybe it's a publicity stunt?

Politico has been around quite a while. It's a liberal webzine.

BTW, they deleted this article quickly after posting. Some very quick people were able to capture the screenshot.

Ah yes, the dumbing down of American news and reporting it.

You might be mistaking news for commentary with a slant, to outright propaganda, depending on the outlet. Anymore, I am very, very skeptical of any news, commentary or propaganda, until I can determine its pedigree, and thus its intent. Left or right.

Classic... Wisconsin labor flag.

This is one way that online news sources will never beat printed news. Stories that are printed are actually edited before printing. A printed story that is inaccurate, can't be rescinded.

Online news sources just delete the whole thing as if it never happened. Not only does a mistake like this blow a whole story, deleting it raises credibility issues concerning both the reporter, and the news source.

As it should be. The last thing America needs is more outsourcing.

people better start learning a trade that can only be done cost effectively in the US. I work for a large engineering/construction company that outsources our "blue collar" work out to China whenever a job is not designated "American Only" (and most jobs aren't).

It's cheaper to fabricate stuff in China and ship the hundreds of thousands of pounds of steel and glass back to the US over 1000's of miles of ocean than to have it made in the US and delivered 20 miles.

I hate NAFTA and outsourcing and I'll fight it every chance I get, but at the same time prepare yourselves people!
