Would Rather just save a few bucks and go for a fully loaded, top of the line, Titanium trim 2013 Ford Fusion AWD.
It would be a better Bang for the Buck...Unless you need to have that Benz Badge on the front of the car and are willing to get less but pay more for it also.

Unless you driven them both, there is no way to know/understand on how much different a driver will feel each car while driving...
Of course it is a matter of preference, but it is common accepted by specialists that german cars are still the benchmark for sport sedans on handling, the cars to copy & try to beat (unfortunately their reliability is middle of the pack).
My bad, but it still won't be a traditional RWD car, even if it will be rear-wheel biased.
And it wouldn't be the first such AMG. The 2014 E63 AMG will have a 4Matic option. And of course there's the AMG versions of the various SUVs...
